Piotr Kowalczyk
Piotr Kowalczyk, a graduate of Gdańsk University of Technology’s Faculty of Architecture, is the founder and principal architect of Archmondo, an architectural practice based in Gdańsk since 2014. His studio focuses on contemporary residential and leisure projects – ranging from private houses to small-scale boutique hotels along the Baltic coast.
Archmondo’s work includes developments such as Promenada and Wave House in central Władysławowo, the Porto Łeba resort set between Lake Sarbsko and the Baltic coast, as well as a number of residential commissions: the Dolina Buków estate in Kashubia, a coastal house in Jastrzębia Góra, and the Kownatki Lake House retreat in Masuria.
In 2025, Archmondo’s Promenada project received the Archello Awards – Public Vote Winner in the Residential category.
Kowalczyk believes architecture should be rational in structure, clear in function, and intrinsically tied to the spirit of its place.
