Marlena Wolnik
Marlena Wolnik – architect, member of the Association of Polish Architects, the Competition Jury of the Katowice Branch of the Association of Polish Architects, the Chamber of Architects of the Republic of Poland, and the Municipal Urban Planning and Architecture Commission in Rybnik, Gliwice, and Rzeszów. Speaker at numerous lectures and presentations, tutor of architectural workshops.
In 1999, together with Robert Konieczny, she founded the KWK Promes office, which she co-ran until 2005. In 2009, she founded the MWArchitekci office, which she still runs today. A graduate of the Faculty of Architecture at the Silesian University of Technology. Winner of numerous architectural awards, including: Nomination for the EU Mies van der Rohe Award 2026, Honorable Mention in the Public Space 2022 Competition, Honorable Mention in the Architecture of Necessity 2022 Competition, Honorable Mention in the EU Mies van der Rohe Award 2022 Competition, POLITYKA Architectural Award 2021, Architecture of the Year Award of the Silesian Province 2020, Special Award in the „Life in Architecture” Competition 2020, Award in the Architecture of the Year Competition of the Silesian Province 2020.
