Karolina Taczalska is an architect and urban planner, co-founder of Design Lab Group and Vice-President of SARP Łódź. She specializes in urban revitalization, heritage conservation, and bottom-up participatory design. She is responsible for coordinating Łódź’s Area-Based Revitalization Program (Zones 5 and 6), covering degraded historic inner-city districts. She is a co-creator of the social project “Od-Nowa:”, which promotes participatory design and urban prototyping, developed together with children and local communities to introduce the concept of school streets. She combines spatial design with architectural education and social engagement.
