Nizio Design International

Mirosław Nizio is an architect, sculptor and patron of culture. He is an expert with 30 years of experience in designing public spaces: architecture, museums, historical expositions, exhibitions, memorials, and museum complexes. 

In 2002, he founded Nizio Design International. It is one of the most active and dynamically operating studios in Poland. The success of the Nizio Design International and its projects lies in the multifaceted approach to designing and managing investments. The team conducts consultations and social research, develops expert opinions and analyzes aimed at developing a concept, preparing an executive design, and also provides author's supervision and implements projects.

The flagship projects of Nizio Design International:

·         the permanent exhibition of the Warsaw Rising Museum (2004)

·         the permanent exhibition of the POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews in Warsaw (2014),

·         The Ulma Family Museum of Poles Saving Jews in World War II in Markowa (2016),

·         Mausoleum of the Martyrdom of Polish Villages in Michniów (2021),

·         The National Museum of the Holodomor-Genocide in Kyiv (from 2018, co-authorship of the building and the permanent exhibition),

·         The Old Mine – Science and Art Centre in Wałbrzych (revitalization).
