Inspired by the new and unique M.A. studies programme, Design Out of the Box is an exhibition created by students and graduates of the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice.

The second-cycle university programme allows students to specialize in the fields of graphic design, product design, visual communication and multimedia with two clear goals in mind. 

The first is Inclusive Design: Health and Social Well-Being preparing students to design solutions aimed at increasing people’s standard of living and concerned with healthcare.

The second is Designing Reading Experience and Interactive Storytelling helping to develop skills related to designing the experience of reading and storytelling on the basis of the narrative, interaction and time-based media.

The works chosen for display are characterized by clear observation of reality and bold approach. The super-designers are:

Joanna Ambroz, Klaudia Gołaszczyk, Aleksander Kaszuba,  Weronika Mehr, Katarzyna Olejarczyk, Katarzyna Pado, Martyna Piątek, Maria Prochaczek, Dajana Wejchert, Karolina Wiśniewska, Klaudia Żmuda.

Visitors will have the opportunity to see innovative tools, typefaces, projects of exhibitions and medical devices. It will be diversified, beautiful and utilitarian – because design can change the world!
