Full professor and bridge engineer at the Silesian University of Technology cooperating with CADmost and infraTEAM companies. Bridge consultant and designer. CAD and BIM expert involved in the digitization of construction, especially in infrastructure. Supervisor of PhDs in the field of bridge dynamics, prestressed concrete, SHM monitoring, digital technologies, artificial intelligence in bridge optimization and diagnostics. Author of the BestCAD application and tools supporting the design of bridges in the CAD environment. Current interests include BIM, Infrastructure Asset Management, Virtual / Mixed Reality in bridge maintenance and inspection. Founder of an accredited bridge research laboratory at the Silesian University of Technology. Program leader of international events infraBIM / infraMOST Expo & Multi-Conference. Author or co-author of nearly 200 publications, including the textbook "BIM in the life cycle of bridges". He participated in many grants and research projects in Poland and abroad (including Vietnam, Portugal, Hungary).
