I believe that a well-designed interior is a good life - more beautiful and easier. I create designs that are comfortable, practical and aesthetically pleasing. For me, architecture is not only about walls, but first and foremost about the way a person finds their place in the world. Aesthetic and functional choices speak about us and influence everyday life. Environments are as important as music and a good book, and the design process is meant to be a pleasure.
I have been working in interiors professionally since 2014, and for the past 4 years I have co-founded Nasze Nowe - an intimate interior design studio with a collaborative team of designers.
I view my design experience broadly. I have a degree in Interior Architecture from the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology and a degree in Cultural Studies from the University of Warsaw. I supplemented my knowledge of design principles by collaborating with Design Alive magazine as a columnist for 10 years, which gave me the opportunity to meet personally with people I had previously learned about from textbooks. I devoted my thesis in Cultural Studies to the subject of Tiny House's, combining my professional design practice with my knowledge of sociology, anthropology and cultural theory. An important part of my portfolio is precisely the Tiny House projects that I realise out of my love for what is mobile and tailor-made.
