The Faculty of Architecture of the Silesian University of Technology

The Faculty of Architecture of the Silesian University of Technology is represented by the Department of Fine Arts and Design and joins the exhibition with a pick of the best graduation projects prepared by BA and MA students enrolled in its interior design programme, as well as the postgraduate programme in interior design and industrial design. In addition, this year's edition of 4DD will present the outcomes of its cooperation with industry, the results of art, research and implementation projects, as well as innovative teaching ventures.

The 2017/2018 academic year marked the 40th anniversary of the Faculty of Architecture. This year, the Faculty celebrates the first decade since the establishment of the Department of Fine Arts and Design and the interior design programme. In recent years, the Faculty has reasserted its strong position in Poland and Europe in terms of art, research and design projects, which is evidenced by the high rank achieved in the latest assessment by the Committee for Evaluation of Scientific Research Institutions, where it was awarded grade A.
