Access by car
Numerous parking lots are located around the International Congress Centre, which allows for comfortable use of the facility.
Speakers can use the car park located next to the International Congress Centre (on the corner of Olimpijska and Skrzypka streets), behind the barrier. The number of parking spaces is limited.

 

Access by tram and bus
The nearest KZK GOP tram and bus stops for the International Congress Centre are Katowice Rondo, Katowice Spodek or Katowice Uniwersytecka.

 

Access by train
You can get to the International Congress Centre from the train station in Katowice:

  • in 15 min. on foot (2,5 km)
  • by cab from Oddziały Młodzieży Powstańczej Square or Młyńska Street
  • by tram from Katowice Railway Station using T2, T11, T13, T23, T43 lines to Katowice Rondo stop (8 min.)

Safety guidelines
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and restrictions imposed in order to counteract it, participation in 4 Design Days is restricted to persons who meet one of the below criteria:

  • have been vaccinated against COVID-19 with a vaccine that is authorised for marketing in the European Union, i.e. have taken the required number of doses of the vaccine at least 14 days prior to the event and present an EU Digital Covid Certificate – or its equivalent issued by a third state (not an EU member state) – in electronic or paper form at the entrance to the event;
  • have a status of a convalescent having recovered from COVID-19 max. during the last 6 months and produce a document confirming this status at the entrance, e.g. an EU Digital Covid Certificate;
  • produce a negative result of a test (in electronic or paper form) for COVID-19 made max. 48 hours before the start of the event and produce it at the entrance to the premises. The test is valid for 48 hours from the time it is taken. After 48 hours, the test must be repeated to in order for a person to participate in 4 Design Days again.

Before you appear at the ticket office registration stand, you will be asked to produce a QR code that is issued after a person receives the last dose of vaccination (in paper form or as a downloadable file). Convalescents will be asked to produce a document confirming their status of a convalescent (the period of time between recovery and the event must not exceed 6 months). Non-vaccinated persons will be required to present a negative result of a test for COVID-19 made no later than 48 hours before the event commences. At the entrance from Olimpijska Street there will be a possibility to test for COVID-19. The cost of the test is PLN 40 gross.
It takes 30 to verify the test, so please keep that in mind when going to the event.

An EU Digital COVID Certificate may be found on the Patient’s Internet Account and in the mObywatel application. 
If, for any reason, you are unable to meet our criteria, inform us of this fact immediately.
