On 15–18 February 2018, the International Conference Centre and the ‘Spodek’ Arena in Katowice will host the 3rd edition of the 4 Design Days – the largest event for the property, architecture, interiors and design market in this part of Europe.
The 4 Design Days is a festival of architecture, design and property. During the four days, the icons of global and Polish design, the greatest architects and designers, manufacturers and service providers, as well as developers will debate on what inspires and creates worldwide trends in architecture and design. The 2017 edition of the 4 Design Days was attended by nearly five thousand business guests (including 300 speakers) and 20 thousand visitors on the open days weekend. The four days of the event involved exceptionally interesting discussions, gripping presentations and lectures, galas during which awards for the industry were presented (Property Design Awards 2016 and Housemarket Silesia Awards 2016), exhibitions, and displays prepared by over 250 exhibitors, as well as a theatre, a cinema and a design party. Our aim and ambition is to make the 3rd edition of the 4 Design Days even better and greater, in terms of both the number of exhibitors and the content-related contribution as well as the quality of debates and meetings.
By creating the 4 Design Days, we wish to stress the importance of creating a platform for an exchange of views on directions, challenges and prospects of development of the property market, as well as on the role of architecture and design in building the quality and competitiveness of such investment projects. We would also like to stress the importance of pursuing a social mission related to constructing people-friendly urban fabric.
