Paweł Garus - born 17.02.1985, graduate of the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning at the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań. In 2008-2009 he interrupted his studies and, together with Jerzy Woźniak, took up a job at the Liong Lie/123DV office in Rotterdam, so that, after returning to Poland in 2009, they could start their own business under their own brand mode:lina™ in parallel with their studies.

Paweł Garus was awarded the Grand Prix at the XXX edition of the Maria Dokowicz Competition for the best graduation project "Water Pavilion" at the Academy of Fine Arts in 2011, which initiated a series of awards and distinctions in various architectural competitions already under the mode:lina™ brand.

Together with its two founders and one-person business department, mode:lina™ is a team of talented young Polish designers, united by their understanding of architecture as a tool for creative exploration of form and function, designing spaces of experience that simply make people's lives better.

The philosophy behind mode:lina™'s design work is based on a balance between an empathetic approach to the investor, attentiveness to their needs and attention to the functionality of the project and inscribing its assumptions into coherent forms and details that guarantee the quality of the end-user experience.
