Patrycja Rudnicka

Assistant Professor, the Faculty of Theory and History of Art, the Academy of Fine Arts and Design, Katowice

Psychologist, assistant professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice and lecturer and expert of SWPS University’s post-diploma studies – User Experience Design/Product Design.  She works at the intersection of psychology, technology, and design. With experience in coordinating research and NCBiR’s implementation projects, she is the author of numerous publications and conference presentations on cyberpsychology and technology readiness.

As a practitioner, she collaborates with businesses, institutions, and designers, conducting interdisciplinary research in the area of technology, as well as products and services. Member of the design teams of Katowice’s wayfinding system and the project of wayfinding for the  Metropolia GZM one. She conducts workshops and training in the fields of design for well-being, positive psychology, and behavioral design. She explores human relations with technology and material reality and seeks ways to enhance them with psychology.
