Dr Marcin Baron is a faculty of the University of Economics in Katowice, Poland (Department of Strategic and Regional Studies).
Innovation as well as metropolitan and regional policy, especially related to technological game-changers, industrial applications and open innovations are his focus of interest. Having a strong belief in the power of proximity, Marcin is keen on supporting the territorial approach to innovation and networking of different ranges. He deals with the application of research methods and strategic management tools to policy programming.
Marcin is a faculty representative to the University Council. At UEKat he is also leading the team for AACSB accreditation (the leading global business schools accreditation scheme).
Marcin is a dedicated teacher and tutor. The academic background makes him a recognized speaker and an experienced consultant. Having the ENFJ (protagonist) personality he is driven by altruism and empathy for other people.
