Kinga Nowak

Artist

Painter and sculptor, author of installations in public space. Born in Krakow, grew up in Düsseldorf. Graduated from the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, studied at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris, and was a lecturer at the University of the Arts, London College of Communication in London in 2008. In 2014, her paintings were included in the publication "100 Painters of Tomorrow" by Kurt Beers, published by Thames & Hudson. Since 2015, together with Michal Bratko, she has been running the artist-run space Widna. Since 2023, she has been running a painting studio at the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. Her works are in the collections of: National Museum in Krakow, Wawel Royal Castle, Museum of Photography in Krakow, National Museum in Gdansk and in numerous private collections.
