Jan Kochański Studio

Jan Kochański (born in 1985) grew up in a family of designers. His childhood spent in his father's workshop had a profound influence on his personality as an industrial form designer.

He studied Interior Architecture at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts (ASP) and at the Politecnico di Milano. Working in design studios in Warsaw and Amsterdam, he gained experience in working with industries and major brands. While working at Karim Rashid's studio, he developed his skills as a designer and gained an understanding of the processes involved in implementing new products.

Since 2013, Jan has been running his own design studio in Warsaw. A well-equipped model workshop allows him to build prototypes and experiment with various material processing techniques. His design process is inseparably linked to creating prototypes, aided by modern computer techniques.

His works have been exhibited in numerous shows across Europe. His projects have received awards in various competitions, including the Wallpaper* Design Award.
