Marek Stasieńko has been associated with Skanska since 2011. He has been working as Regional Leasing Director since 2016. Apart from Wrocław, Katowice and Kraków, in 2018 he also became responsible for Poznań.
Marek is responsible for the commercialization process of Skanska’s office schemes in Region South: Silesia Business Park in Katowice, High5ive in Krakow, Green2Day in Wroclaw and Nowy Rynek in Poznań. He is responsible for tenant acquisition and cooperation with real estate agencies.
Has over 10 years of experience on the commercial real estate market.
Before Skanska, Marek Stasieńko worked in international consultancy companies (Knight Frank among others) where he was responsible for tenant and lessor representation, negotiation of lease terms and, as Asset Manager, advisory services for the biggest European investment funds, SEB Investment and DEKA Immobilien. Among his successes to date are multiple leasing agreements concluded with international and well-established companies from the business services sector HP, PwC, Capgemini, ABB and many others.

Katowice has bravely fought its way into the circle of main players competing for investors from the SSC/BPO sector. In terms of the amount of modern office space, Katowice has outstripped Poznań, thus becoming the fourth regional market in Poland in this regard. However, the rivalry for lessees is becoming fiercer. Will office buildings in Katowice keep attracting lessees effectively with more and more interesting designs and facilities/incentives? Do the support from local authorities and investment comfort still constitute the greatest assets of investing in that location?
