He holds Masters Degree in Architecture & Urban Design from Warsaw University of Technology, where he received the Minister of Infrastructure Award for his final degree
project. Jakub was awarded a scholarship to University of Detroit Mercy Faculty of Architecture.

Jakub Wiśniewski gained professional experience working at renowned architectural studios across Poland and Germany, prior to co-founding and acting as principal architect and designer at “JMW Architekci” design studio in 2008.

JMW Architekci specialize in complex multi-purpose architectural designs for buildings and interiors. Clients include private and commercial investors, with projects ranging from showroom space design to commercial space, shops, offices and restaurants.
Most recently the JMW Architekci team developed an ultramodern, multifunctional module kitchen island “MODULTOP” in cooperation with the leading Italian ceramic slabs company Laminam. This modern approach to kitchen furniture was unveiled at the “2017 Salone del Mobile” design show in Milan, Italy.

Jakub Wiśniewski often takes part as expert in various discussion panels at prestigious industry trade shows, including Warsaw Home Expo, 4 Days Design, Good Design Forum, International Construction and Architecture Fair BUDMA.
