Stefanie Rummel, studied Architecture at the University of Mainz and afterwards Economics. Her career in Construction sector began in 1995 as a leading architect responsible for facility management of real state for German gas, power and water supplier, followed by a project management position with Star Alliance and Lufthansa, where she gained international experience.
Starting 2001 Stefanie has worked with Intercontinental Hotel Group as Development Architect Northern, Central & Eastern Europe where she had been responsible for maintaining relationships with external and internal property developers, owners, investors to deliver projects in line with brand standards from 2 star up to 5 star brands. Stefanie went onto pursue a career in Hotel Design and Construction joining Wyndham Hotel Group in 2006 as Vice President Architecture & Construction. In 6 years with the company Stefanie has prepared for the opening 220 hotels with approximately 35.000 guestrooms and launched a budget hotel brand in Germany at the IHIF in Berlin.
Stefanie Rummel is responsible for feasibility design and planning for all brands, working closely with MI Development, owners and franchisees to ensure optimal solutions for early stage projects. In this capacity she is a key contributor to achieving Marriott International continent growth objectives and realizing on-strategy hotels.
